DEVELOP A DRUG AND ALCOHOL PLAN DEVELOPMENT TOOL

PHMSA has noted that many small systems do not have written drug and alcohol plans meeting the requirements of the rule. The SIF will develop a tool that will help small systems develop a plan they can adopt for their own use. The SIF Board agreed to develop such guidance to help these small systems and the contractors who work for them. Several model plans are available, including one on the PHMSA website, however this plan has not been amended to reflect recent rule changes.
